My boyfriend asked me to babysit his virtual kitty here. :)
You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer.
You are through those knitting growing pains and feeling more adventurous. You can follow a standard pattern if it's not too complicated and know where to go to get help. Maybe you've started to experiment with different fibers and you might be eyeing a book with a cool technique you've never tried. Perhaps you prefer to stick to other people's patterns but you are trying to challenge yourself more. Regardless of your preference, you are continually trying to grow as a knitter, and as well you should since your non-knitting friends are probably dropping some serious hints, these days.

Guess it had to happen sooner or later...I decided to try blogging. Right now I don't have the time or impetus to launch into a full blown website, but I've been reading through tons and TONS of knitting books and I thought others could benefit from the notes I've made and the time I've spent.
It's late so I'll start my book reviews later. :)
Knitting work for today: Spent most of the day cleaning the car and then out with a friend but when I got home I fiddled around with a couple patterns in Nicky Epstein's Knitted Embellishments that just arrived for me yesterday.
I also played with the pompom maker I bought recently. I also played with a neat ribbon yarn I splurged on at the LYS and the new Crystal Palace #1s I bought.
Lastly I cast on the second strip of my afghan onto the Clover bamboo needles I bought so I can knit the afghan in the movie theatre and not worry about poking whomever I'm with while I fling around needles (14" is kinda long in today's theatres :) Strip 1 is already over 17" long (yay!) It's in two different blue colors of Lion Brand Homespun and it's SOOOOOO soft.
More later!
